1968 - 1972 Topps Baseball Poster Packs
651968 Topps Poster Packs
A fairly tough example of a Topps item… Back in 1968 Topps issued a set of 24 Posters with some of the bigger players of that era. These posters were not available as inserts and could only be purchased in packs - 1 poster to a pack along with a piece of gum. The production code on the box was 1-400-37-01-8. The production code on the pack was 0-400-91-01-8.

1969 Topps Poster Packs
This is also a fairly tough example of a Topps item… As a follow up to the 1968 Posters, Topps decided to issue 24 Team Posters with about 9 players from a team on each one. These posters were not available as inserts and could only be purchased in packs - 1 poster to a pack along with a piece of gum. The production code on the box was 1-490-37-01-8. The code on the wax pack was 0-490-97-01-8.

1970 Topps Poster Packs
Perhaps the toughest of all to find… Continuing their short tradition, Topps issued Posters of individual players. These posters were available for purchase in packs - believed to be 1 poster to a pack along with a piece of gum. The production code on the box was 1-689-37-01-0. It is believed that these All Star Posters are different from the ones that were included as Inserts with the Regular Topps Issue.

I have an entire (24) 1968 baseball all stars posters, in what I would consider "mint" condition, except for the initial folds prior to coming out of the the bubblegum packs. Could someone give me an idea as to the value of this set on the open market and how I would go about marketing these items to achieve the greatest return on this investment? Thank you.

Nice photos. I have a set of the '67 and '68 Topps posters. The '68s are tough to store unless you keep them folded, which isn't any fun at all!
